Thank you for shopping at Digital Business Academy.
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with the purchase of one of our courses, we invite you to review our policy on refunds.
The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased with us.
Interpretation and Definitions
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
“Company” (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Digital Business Academy (Pty) Ltd
“Goods” refers to the items offered for sale on the Service.
“Orders” means a request by you to purchase Goods from us.
“Service” refers to the Website.
“Website” refers to Digital Business Academy, accessible from https://digitalbusinessacademy.co.za
“You” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
The agreement between Digital Business Academy and a attendee will only commence once full payment is received.
The prices as quoted on our site exclude Value Added Tax (“VAT”) which is charged – where relevant – at the prevailing rate.
Cancellations by you
If you wish to cancel participation in a course after paying in full, the following applies provided you notify Digital Business Academy in writing. You can inform us by sending us an email: email@example.com
If the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 is applicable and the attendee cancels this agreement within the period of 5 (five) working days before the course commences, the attendee will only be entitled to a refund of 50% of the fees paid to Digital Business Academy.
If the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 is applicable and the attendee cancels this agreement before the attendee has completed the selected course but after the 5 (five) working day period, the attendee will not be entitled to a refund from Digital Business Academy.
Cancellations on or after the date of commencement of the course are not eligible for any refund.
Digital Business Academy does not guarantee that the courses will be on offer in the future and if you choose to delay your participation in any course, you do so entirely at your own risk.
If you are unable to attend, you may attend the course at another date or substitute delegates with written notification to Digital Business Academy with the substitutes full name and email address. Please note transfer/name changes are not possible within 2 working day's of the course date.
Cancellation and changes by Digital Business Academy
Digital Business Academy reserves the right to postpone a course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, delegates will be offered an alternative date. Please note that we reserve the right to change the course content and prices of any Training Course at any time and without notice.
Where you are entitled to a refund in terms of these Terms and Conditions, Digital Business Academy will refund the amount paid by you within 30 (thirty) days after Digital Business Academy written confirmation of your refund.
Term and Termination
These Terms and Conditions shall commence from the date on which they are published on our site and shall continue indefinitely, as amended by Digital Business Academy from time to time for as long as our site exists and is operational.
We will reimburse you by using the same means of payment as you used for the Order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
